RAIN formed in November 1995 with Fumiyuki (文有希) as vocalist, Yoshiaki (美章) on guitarist, Shin (伸) as support bassist and Tom (十夢) as drummer. Live performances were held mainly in Gunma.
In 1996, bassist Shin joins officially, and 1st Demotape 「~for~」 released.
April 1997: Guitarist Syunji (瞬時) joins officially.
In 1997~1999: Released demo tapes "Youen" (妖艶), "REPLICA" (レプリカ), and "less".
November 22, 1999: Participated in Gunma Band's free live performance "Gunma Kakumei" (群馬革命) at Meguro Rock-may-kan (目黒鹿鳴館). More than 270 people turn out. The omnibus demo tape "Gunma Kakumei" (群馬革命) released.
Feburary 5, 2000: The bass player Shin (伸) left the band.
Feburary 28, 2000: HIROKAZU joined from CRESCENT as a new bassist.
July 29, 2000: Demo tape "Kinu no Ito to Kumo no Ito" (絹の糸と蜘の意図) released.
Oct. 13, 2000: Demo tape "Ga.RA.ku.TA.ba.KO" (Ga.ラ.ku.タ.ba.コ) distributed as a bonus for those who enter the lives on August 28 and October 13.
Dec. 5, 2000: Demo tape "Eien" (永遠) released.
At this day, RAIN announced that they would hold their first one-man live. At the same time, they also announced that they would break up after this one-man live.
January 7, 2001: The RAIN breaks up after their first and last one-man live.
April 5, 2003: Vocalist Fumiyuki (文有希) (age 24) dies suddenly.
May 8, 2003: Fumiyuki's memorial LIVE was held, and RAIN was reunited for one night only with Keiju (佳樹) from 蜘蛛-kumo- on vocals.
August 22, 2003: Fumiyuki tribute album "to SILENCE" is released.
